My name is Leah Isaak, I am a practicum student at Archway Society for Domestic Peace, completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. Archway has a mission to empower women, children, and families to live free from domestic and sexual violence.

My professional background includes working as a Registered Nurse in various healthcare settings over the past 11 years.

My initial goal in counselling is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which we seek to understand more about what you’re experiencing and find new ways of coping and problem solving.

I acknowledge that my work place is within the northern part of the unceded Okanagan First Nation Territory and that many descendants of the Suqnaquinx (Suk anok can) still live here.

I’m excited to work with you!

Hi, my name is Kim, and I am the Family Therapist at Oak Centre. I hold a degree in Child and Youth Care and a master’s in counselling psychology. My professional experience includes working as an Early Childhood Educator, as well as a social worker with the Ministry of Children and a clinician at Child and Youth Mental Health.

I am passionate about supporting families, children, and youth through difficult times by offering therapy focused on re-establishing attachment, emotional regulation, and trauma processing. I use therapeutic approaches such as play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a strength-based perspective to guide healing.
